CF Vision Mirrors Installed - Photos as Promised
Installation of the Vision mirrors was very straight forward. I ended up snapping the corner attachment bolt on the passenger side
- I'm not sure if they are weak or if I'm just an over-zealous son of a bitch and over tightened it. Either way, it doesn't seem to be a problem as the other 2 bolts hold it tight. Fitment is good with ony a small gap between the door fram and the mirror.
I'm going to have to get used to looking out of these. The driver's side acts more like a second rear view mirror than a side mirror. I've run out of adjustment and I think the fact that I am so tall compunds the problem. No verdict on the view out of the passenger side yet becasue I haven't played with it...
Overall, I really like them...

Hasn't it been established that these JDM mirrors are set up for RHD, making them barely usable here in north america?? I'm puzzled why someone would want mirrors that don't work well. Each to their own, I guess.
They sure do look pretty.
They sure do look pretty.

They are not ideal for sure, no denying that. I thought most issues would be due to their size.
We'll see how it goes...

I actually like the view out of them. They make the annoying headlights behind you at less annoying. You can still see your blind spot and behind out of the pass mirror, and to see anything else, you really only need to move your head over like 2 inches to the right.
