Default Evap purge soleniod!!

Hey, i searched and all all i came up with was wiring. I got a jdm b16a for my 95 eg and im not sure if i have to swap my evap purge soleniod from my d15 to my b16..i live in NY and i dont have to worry bout the strict emission laws. So do i need it or can i leave it out?

Um, yes you do have to worry about emissions. Becasue i live in NY to, and you should know that we just got the new emission testing. On obd2 cars they plug our cars into a computer, but I don't know about the obd1, not all places have dynos or some kind of wheel thing for them to run the car, so not every shop does the sniffer test.. But you have it better because you have OBD1. . But anyway, no you can still use the Evap purge Solenoid off your car. Becasue it only takes one hose from the Tb, so just leave the solenoid on your car and hook up one end to the tb, and the other end should be going to the charcoal canister.

aight, thanks. and the emissions test are for only cars 96 up(obdII) certain countys might have different regulations..thanks alot for your help
