no inspection in tenessee i dont think.

at least ive never seen inspection stickers on tennessee cars.

No we do have emissions test but they are now where near as strict as California. If your car is OBD1 then they stick a pipe in your exhaust if you are OBD2 then they plug into the OBD port as well as test your gas cap pressure. We don't have to go to smog refs or anything. If you are doing something like OBD1 in an OBD2 vehicle you can easily go to a few counties in the middle tennessee area, i.e. Coffee County, and purchase a PO Box and then you don't have to run your car through emissions and it's about $60 cheaper.

On another note, your are going to be wasting a bunch of money and time going to NADC. You should spend a little, or a lot, more and got to WyoTech and get a better Automotive Education. Honestly, I wouldn't let anyone who graduated from NADC work on my car. I have a friend who graduated from there and is working at a freaking tire shop making $10.50 an hour. It's going to take him forever to pay back the $20,000+ he paid to go to NADC! Make the smart choice and go to WyoTech or some where similar!!!!! I've learned just as much as he did from doing stuff myself!

no we dont have strict laws just the normal emission go pay them 12$ and they put a stick thing in your tail and thats it and good choice of collage nadc is a good one
