cat. converter off on an hx?

Default cat. converter off on an hx?

ive got a 97 hx civ. and my cat is in the engine bay. if i were to take it off, would that make any difference? or what about if i was to get an ex head, and relocate the cat to where the resonator is? thanks.

If you are talking about flow and sound, then yes it will make a difference.
