Default Rear disc brakes on 1990 Civic hb.

Off what year and model can i get rear disc axle for my 1990 civic.

90-91 si i know.. but wrong forum... i also think u can get them from a da... but not sure... check teh faqs in the ef forum

You can use any trailing arm assembly from any 90+ Integra, and any 90-00 civic/sol/crx. They are all the exact same geometry. Make sure to get the matching brake hoses though, because there are a couple different calipers (and the brake lines MUST match).

You will also need the proportiong valve from any NON ABS: 90-00 integra or 90-95 civic/crx or 93-97 del sol. An ABS proportioning valve is NOT compatible with a NON ABS car. This part is not required, but your brake system will function better...

A lot of people say you need to upgrade your master cylinder & brake booster, but that is not the case. 4 wheel disc crxs & 92-95 civic Si still have the small 13/16" master cylinder and their brakes work great. The soft pedal some people experience is due to poor brake bleeding. The larger Master cylinder is only needed if you get larger front brakes...

As for E-brake cables, your on your own....

jus find ne SI model in that yr or u can use the rear trailing arms of any DA !
