If your car is OBD2 and you want to convert to OBD1 you will need a conversion harness......but with an FMU you don't need to do that.

With an FMU i would go as high as 6lbs of boost.

Hope that answered your question.

You should convert to obd1 and use uberdata.

ya with programs like uberdata and hondata and chrome you can fine tune the fuel and ignition maps so your car runs like a stock turbocharged vehical. and you will be able to turn the boost up and make more reliable horsepower

ok so up to 6 psi its fine with a FMU of 12;1 and stock ecu obd correct? I have a 1996 so i think i have a obd 2a. the thing is that i don't know squat about mapping etc.. if i stick to 6 psi and FMU the car can run fine as normal? Do i still have to get it dynod?
