That's awesome, I'm a n00b so I have some questions about it:

1. Does it reflect stuff like glare and sunlight?

2. Are they street legal?

3. How much and where can I get one

Are mirrored shields any more difficult to clean than regular shields? Seems like the possibility of scratches would be much higher.

Yeah, my mirrored shield has been scratched up from normal wear and tear but they're only hairline scratches and can barely tell when you have the helmet on. Plus, it looks oh so nice!!

Here's my mirror shield on my other helmet.

I tried riding at night and I must say, DO NOT DO IT. I smacked a big *** pot hole the other night because I was wearing the mirrored shield and couldn't see the road detail well.

Yeah, see... that's why I have trouble convincing myself they're worthwhile. Sunglasses seem to be working pretty well for me.

pics too! jk

I wanted to get a mirror shield for my arai signet gt but they dont make it for that model. Doh! I guess I have to stick with my dark shield.

Are you sure its hard to see at night with the mirror shield? I was checking out the display for the rx-7 mirror shields and put it up to my face and it looks exactly the same as the dark visor I have.

Well, I'm guessing it's just as hard to see at night (read: no worse) with a mirror as it is with a dark smoke.

Here you can see my helmet along with my new Sidi Vert 2s and back somewhere on my floor is my new textile pants too.

Also I found if you get too many bugs on your visor that you should wipe them off delicately because it started taking off the mirrored finish on mine. It is right directly below the flash's glare.
