any cels? If vtec wasn't working, it should trick a CEL...also a way to tell is the sound pitch is different...you'll notice in higher RPMS, the intake would sound more aggressive.

no, this is done all the time. I put a 1999 ex head & IM on my 92 dx 1.5L. Used a 95 ex P28 and no problem. he has the right set up, not sure why it isnt working though

why would you tap the bock/head for oil pressure... i just removed the oil jet... which is what your spose to do... i mean yeah... What about the vtec light? when vtec should of kicked in i got a cel with it hooked up... i hooked the t tap right on the solenoid wire in the engine compartment... i mean what am i spose to do?
I recently did the same setup y8 head on d15b7 block... I was getting the same thing when my vtec wires were loose on the ecu plug.. check both the vtec solenoid wire and the oil pressure switch positive... it's probably loose or the pin is not far enough in.... I had mine loose for a while and everytime I went past vtec engagement, engine check light would come on and no vtec.. that's all I can think of right now
arg... ok so i dont have a CEL when i drive around... i drive up to where vtec should hit... and it doesnt feel like anything is hitting...

d series is different from a b and you don't run an oil line to the head, there is a rubber plug in the block under the head you pull out and sends the oil up into the head so you get vtec. I dunno what the problem is, I thought the ob1-2 thing would've been it.
