Default Greddy Profec B problems, need advice

I have had the profec b for over 2 years and its worked perfectly, no problems at all. About two weeks ago I was on the highway and needed to pass a semi truck so I hit the gas and click on the controller..6psi, not 10psi like I've always run. Once I got past the truck I hit it a couple more times and boost was still holding at 6lbs and no more. when I got where I was going I checked the hoses to make sure everything was good and it was. When I got back to my car I tried it again and sure enough, back to 10psi and no problems for the last 2 weeks until now. Today I noticed it was running almost 11psi so I turned it down slightly to 10psi. The next time I went to hit it(there was a cavi revving on me) and 6psi no more. It hasnt gone back to full boost since. What the hell is going on here? Think the motor for it is broke or what? If it just flat out wouldnt hit boost anymore I'd think that but it fixed itself once before...I just dont know. Any help would be great! Thanks

It could be a couple of things:

1) Signal to the solenoid to hold pressure may be off (or not grounded properly)

2) Did you change your start boost or set gain?

3) when it goes up to these pressures, does it hold steady, or spike up and go back down to the lower psi?

when it does go to peak boost, it holds great. like I said, it either works perfectly or like the controller isnt even on. The other day while it was going through an "I'm not going to work right now" phase, I went WOT and started turning up the boost and it just sat at 6psi; never moved.

Haven't made any changes to the boost or gain settings either.

Any ideas or experiences would be great! thanks

I can't really relate to your car but with my evo it was doing something similar. Just make sure all your hoses are connected correctly. (I am sure they are)

The way mine was fixed was by magic....I seriously couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so I just let it go for awhile to think. I came back a couple days later and it was working fine. I haven't had problems since then and that was almost 8 months ago.

If I had to guess I would say that your signal to the solenoid is not grounded correctly or out of sync.
