I wanna go all motor for now. What do you guys think this setup would pull? Anything else I should throw in there as far as the Engine goes?

you only need one header. are those adjustable cams or cam gears? you might want to think about a larger throttle body, good axles, hondata intake manifold gasket. sounds good though, what chassis? my .02

 

I dont know what you meant by "you only need one header". But they are AEM Cam Gears. Im driving a 98 dx aka EJ6. know any good throttle bodiess?

instead of AEM camgears better of with a better company i had a set for about 4 months and the bolts failed fucked my motor up also happened to my friend h22 same cam gears but he was lucky only one gave out, as for a greedy timming belt compare it to a TODA TIMING if they are about the same price go with toda

 

i'm giving you a hard time for putting the s on header. you upgraded the intake and the intake manifold, but they can only flow as well as the smallest point, which in your case is the throttle body now. you could also get yours bored out. search this site for that, and you'll get plenty of info. it'll give you a little more power, but if you get cams later on that's when you'll see the real gains from your intake system.

he means honda use one header not headers =2

 

The Skunk 2 Manifold is just a copy of the factory ITR manifold, so that really isnt necessarry. Upgrade the head, with stronger internals and get some good cams. I would recommend a better header than the Greddy. Factory JDM ITR is good, AN-R, and etc... Good luck!

I fixed the Header mistake for you all. lol. anyhow, i thought about going venom intake but i dont know. just getting my list together so i can rebuild the engine while at school. thanx again all.

venom im's are best for turbo, and the itr is the worst b for turbo. it was built for na, and it was built to be beat on. stick with what you have. a bad *** header would go a long way though. either way you'll be rolling, good luck.

 

insted of buying skunk2 mani. use the money from the greddy header and the skunk manifold and buy a header like this ill be sweet

Yeah, I think the spoiler is a bit much. As are the front and rear bumpers with the crazy vents. And I would paint the wipers black, but hey, to each his own right?

^ These items will not add any power, and are a waste of $$$ IMO. Should put down around 180HP to the wheels if your lucky, and get a good motor.

 

in NA cars... the header is a night/day difference... wanna make serious power consider getting some better header.

 

I bought the car the way it is about 2 months ago. Im just now gettin to customize it myself. But just because i dont JUST want a front lip like everyone else doesnt mean you can talk **** about my car. and if i wanted black wipers, i would just buy black wipers instead of painting them. Everyone has their own vision of how they want their car to look and drive. so please. if yer gonna just flame me go somewhere else. i love my car for everything she is and isnt. she will be sweet when im done so if you dont like it, keep it to yerself please.

I think it was the 180 whp part.

 

I never claimed to have 180HP, he asked what his B18C5 should put down with those mods.
Another example of our how our education system has failed us.

It's not lack of education, it's laziness. I didn't read all the posts. I doubt he'll break 180 whp unless he get a diff header too.
