Default How Do I adjust IACV on a D15??? HELP WITH PICS PLEASE

Just like the post topic says. I need to know exactly what to adjust to see if it would help with my idle. I have a 1992 honda Civic with a D15 in it still....I read that you could adjust it by a screw or something. Please let me know. Thanks....

Also, when I first start the car, the idle is high (almost 3000 RPM's) After it gets hot or driving for 2 mins it goes back down to normal. Please help!!!!

You don't adjust the IACV, its not adjustable. You can change the duty cycle in the ECU, but thats a whole nother story. Warm the car up, unplug (yes, unplug) the IACV. Idle without the IACV plugged in SHOULD be ~450rpms. If its not, use the screw on the TB to compenstate. If the car dies when you unplug the IACV, plug it back in, restart, open the screw some and then unplug it again to set the idle. It will also toss a code when you unplug it, just reset the ECU when you are done.

EDIT: after reading your FIRST post, the IACV is not your problem. Please don't mess with it or the idle screw. The idle is SUPPOSED to go up that high when you first start, thats what the FITV is for. Ignore it, its fine. Don't change anything, its not broken.
