I'm not embaressed, i just never got time to do it before my swap, i wanted to compare before and after

i already looked there, and i searched, nada. I Really wanted to take mine to the track, i wish i'd gotten a chance to, i figured if i gutted the interior I may have been able to get down in the high 19's

I suppose i should have qualified that with "This is as fast as they can go in the 1/4 and 0-60 stock..." as variables are numerous and driver experience is a major factor. Those #'s i put were i guess what was gathered as the "best" so to speak for a stock 1992 Honda Civic CX hatchback.
i would put money on the fact that NOBODY could get my car into the 17's with the old motor, i've done a lot of racing and i'm a good driver, i did a 14.9 in my 01 cavalier with bolt ons, and i was seriously thinking 19's or 20's for that thing, granted its 10 years old but i don't think age was a factor in its turtle like slowness
Who knows...some cars are faster than others right off the showroom floor, over time cars take a beating and progressively get worse and worse as far as mechanical shape goes...i was just posting what was listed, you asked and i supplied, if you doubt it...go do some research, find something that fits your "realistic expectations" better, i dont have a civic, dont want a civic and wont ever own a civic for racing purposes in the future...i just happened to have a 0-60 and 1/4 resource at my disposal and posted the findings. Take it or leave it.

yea that is what i have a z6 and i ran 15.3 with a bad clutch and bad tires

I saw an Ek cx ran at 18.2, but then again that was an ek not an eg. Also my dying vx motor ran a 17.6 with a full cat-back, dx header, coilover, and shitty tires.

read the post, i DID a swap, i no longer have that POS motor. and if i was swapping, i'd stay FAR away from d series, 15's easy? so what, 15's = slow. it needs to do 13's before you can consider it to be worth anything, but thats just my opinion

thanks, just what i was looking for
although honestly, i think yours was faster than mine, but on the other hand, i raced this other guy in a cx twice and womped him both times, which was really funny, because it didn't look like we were racing, it just looked like 2 cars going down the highway, i laughed. but his might have been particularly bad
