How to wash inside your helmet
Hi everybody,
I've got an AGV GP1 helmet which is 10 months old, and because of our weather in my country, a motorcycle rider swets to often.
Thus I am wondering how can I clean and wash my helmet Cushion (it is non removable cushion).

Not really washing, but a few companies make good sprays meant for helmets. They seem to work best if used starting when the helmet is new. They can cover up some smells if the helmet is older, but if there is too much funk it will come back.

That's what do-rags, backwards baseball cap, and beanies are for. If you stunk it up already, its too facking late. Buy a new helmet if it bothers you so much.

FeBreze makes this Anti-Microbial spray, it kills sh**, like the smelly stuff
I used with when a few friends threw up on my carpet (at a party).

this sounds wierd, but we used to use mint flavored shaving cream in our hockey gloves to keep them from smelling. we would squirt it in the glove before we played. im not saying squirt it on your head, then put your helmet on, but maybe wash your helmet, then smear the shaving cream in there, let it sit for a bit, then rinse it out. it should make it nice and fresh. plus shaving cream consists of mostly soap, so it will help clean too

That's disgusting. Febreze is straight-up chemical, and shouldn't go anywhere that you can breathe it in.
I'd never put that **** in my helmet. Just can't be good for you.

I just did mine in the bath tub or if your sink is big enough do it in there.
I used a small amount of tide liquid detergent and let it sit for about 1/2 hour or so, then I drained it all out and did a rinse cycle in the shower.
I think it took about 24+ hours to dry but damm if my helmet doesn't smell nice now!!!!!
I use a du-rag now to keep it clean(er)
