immobilizer removal for a type S ecu Anyone?
I was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove the immobilizer from the type s ecu, where is it located and how do i go about removing it trying to do my k swap with out taking it anywhere.

get an alarm if your worried.
the immobilizer is bolted to the steering column. with two small phillips screws and it has one plug connected to it.
doesnt matter what someone does trying to steal the rsx, one way or the other you have to go through acura. I know people who can steal rsx's, but they go through acura

You can't jump it. I got the wiring diagram form Acura and tried it. The only thing that happens is your ECU freaks out. The reason this happens is because, you an immobilizer unit sends a signal under a special wavelength to the ECU. If you jump it its not the same wavelength. Honda developed this so no one could jump it and steel your car. So don't worry everyone. Thieves are going to get their hands on some info on how to boost immobilizer cars.
