Default Dome light issue

I searched, but no luck.

After I close my door, my dome light stays on for about 30 seconds before fading out. Even when I put the switch to OFF instead of DOOR, the delay time still exists (even though the light is off). So when I lock my car with my alarm, it keeps on telling me that my dome lights are on. Is there any way I can eliminate that delay time after I close the door? I still want it to function, just not have the delay time.

i don't think you are going to find that in the owner's manual all that is controlled by the ( passanger multiplex control unit ) and i am not 100% sure but i don't think there is much you can do with that
