recently got my rr and i was wondering what undertail u guys like the best?

did you even get a 600rr? there is always the 900/929/954 in which undertail has a totally different meaning....

I think it's clean and tastefully done. Finally got to hear one. Loud and GOOD. They post dyno plots at least. Take them with a grain of salt, but at least they post 'em.

the only porblem with that would be the ehxaust temps. they could ruin the paint or melt something.

I think if you left enough gap (the black ring) between the tip and the body work, I should be ok. Maybe it'll get blackened on top due to the exhaust vapors but that's about it.

Fitting a traditional muffler under there just looks bad.

But really, does the new 600RR not have enough power? It's already stupid fast....

Well that and the fact it would be blocked by your lic plate on a street bike, which I think is the primary reason it is aimed down.

The license plate would probably be mounted below the exahaust. In fact, it looks like there might be two sections there where you'd drill to mount the bracket.

Yeah. I've seen them mounted there and also on one side of the swingarm. Unfortunately the cops around here don't like either too much.
