ewwwww that 2nd 60' gave me shivers. those times are pretty slow for a crx with an ls swap (sorry to sound like a dick). i say its the tires, although your traps are kinda slow too. any clutch slippage? missed gears? bad reaction times? although 15.7 is as fast as a stock SI. any wheel hop?

the 2nd 60 foot was bad i tried lauchin to high i didnt miss any gears reaction has nothin to do with my times , didnt feel like the clutch was slippin at all the tires were breakin loose through 3rd to , im not happy gonna go over the motor either tonight or tommrow . oh and no wheel hop just spinning and screeching lol\

i agree about the trap speeds i think that had alot to with not really being able to launch and traction problems what do u guys think

Good tires will make all the difference. However, the trap speeds are kind of low.

Just for reference I trap around 94-96 mph with my b16a on a good run with approx. 2.2 60'.

Cheap stuff that you can do:

Run a cheap testpipe. Took off .2 for me, and gave me 2 mph in the quarter with my B16.

Smaller wheels, stock CRX wheels are 22". Smaller wheels mean shorter gearing.

Sticky tires: can't emphasize their importance enough. They help so much.

What are the mods?

My time is in my sig on street tire.

You will be quicker if you had a b16 tranny or a GSR YS1 tranny like what I have

Are you running with a catalytic converter? That killed my times. The mods that made the biggest difference for me were exhaust mods.

work on the launch, most people say their motors arent running up to par, tear it all apart, change all tune up parts, still wonder whats wrong, then put some tires on and suspension and drop the time a full second
