Stock internals d15b with t28 turbo what is the max psi i can boost....?????
Like Tgreaves says 6-8. I honestly wouldn't go past 8psi. Remenber The d15b is the high compression of the sohc motors as far as I know so high boost and high compression don't mix.
Get the car together and take it to a tuner/dyno.
Good Day,

Im actually impressed with your question.. You said what engine and what turbo you have an asked for a psi.. Most people just say "how much boost can I run on my motor" without telling the turbo and sometimes without what engine..
You cannot boost over 8.625 psi
If you do, you're motor WILL DEFINATELY BLOW UP as soon as you drive it
anything under that and your motor will last a really long time.

BS I know someone who running over 10 psi on stock internals.

i ran 10 psi on a stock d15b for months without any problem. I was running a t28 with 310cc injectors, greddy blue box.... what type of management u planning on running?

As long as you have a good tune, it is fine to run a high compression. A local tuner runs 10.6:1 on his shoc. Boosts like 10 psi on his d15.

come on, he's obviously joking...precisely 8.625? and a bit under that will ensure engine longevity?
haha, good one 200GSRT

Thats what I'm talking about that little engine that could.

It's power, not PSI. PSI is irrelevent.
Is it a JDM D15 or a D15B2/B7?
The JDM D15's are supposedly a little stronger because of larger main bearing sizes than the USDM D15's.

This man is correct, it's all in the tune. You could push 230WHP easily on a D15 with a T28 (From an SR20, I presume?) , but detonate once and good bye block...Many people run 200WHP daily without problems on a conservative tune.

Correct, but given the motor and the turbo that is used, you can kinda guess what a safe psi would be to run..

i was thinking in running with a y8 manifold, y8 fuel rail, venom injectors, pressure regulator and a obx cam
I've been running 10-11psi on a mini me swap with a 15g greddy kit with absolutely no problems. Using dsm 450's with an AFC to tune, and a DH-racing head, and my cars C/R is roughly 10.5-1 they say. I used a wideband to help tune and it runs great. Def. agree, its all in the tune. So be careful, retard your timing just a tad or run stock. I have my retarted just a little to compensate for the AFC jacking the timing.
i have a jdm d15b with a t3/t4 .57/.63 trim turbo on it.
it builds full boost at 5k and pulls strongly through 7800 rpms.
im running all stock internals with dsm 450cc injectors.
any questions just ask
car runs just as good as the day we put it together..
