Anybody try a seat pan sawp with a CRV seat?
I am curious B/C you can get them cheap. Has anybody tried it or know anybody who did. I really need to know if they would sit higher than normal. if so its a no go. I am already 6'4".
Thanks Guys.
BTW, I searched and no body has mentioned CRV seats.

Why do you think NO-GO...The seat has height adjustments like an integra seat. Thats what sparked my interest in the first place....I am going to borrow my moms CRV and study the seat pan and how it looks. It would be cool to have a built-in arm rest in the drivers seat.
Hey man the thing that I would look at isn't so much the seat pan swap but the dimensions of the seat the width, length and height. I can see it now as your mom walks about and is like what in the world are you doing with the seat out of my CRV....

Post pics if you try it,I looked at CRV seats when I went junkyard hop'n for seats when I got my hatch.I ended up getting 93 integra seats cause they were brown and matched the color of my interior, but I liked the look and feel of the CRV seats more, but wanted them to match the rest of the car, color wise.

I think NO-GO cause of the size difference between the EF/CRX seats and the CRV seats. If you are successful in swapping the seat pans you will need the (crv) upper portion of the seats to bolt to the new seat pan (ef/crx) as well. Besides, don't the crv seats sit pretty high up?
I think the adjustable option would be great! Although, the overall problem would be just fitting them in the CRX and being able to sit in them comfortably.

If the pans appear to be similar I am going to try it. I know they sit high in the CRV but it may just all be in the seat tracks. They look very similar to Integra seats I just figured that somebody else has tried this. Seat pan swaps have been around for a while now.
Also they are for my 91-DX, so I have a little more room than a CRX.
