Default uberdata bad idle question...

ok.. so ive got the 1000 injectors in there and ive got a basemap to run it... i start the car up and it runs beautifully.. (off the manifold with no turbo hooked up yet)... then i shut the car off... and start it back up and it runs like complete ****.. wont idle very well and just falls on its face... WHY IS THIS ?? i dont have the 02 sensor hooked up and its just dangling under the car... i dont know if this would play a roll in it... but my buddy told me since its a heated 02 that it might be messing it up a little... thanks guys!

i think whats happening is the 02 is trying to richin your motor up b/c the 02 is running really lean

Try it without closed loop. The ecu probably runs in open loop until the car is up to a certain temp and then goes into closed loop. You can't run closed loop if your o2 isnt in the exhaust.

sometimes uberdata has weird idling issues. What version are you running? Does it still idle bad when warmed up?

Might want to give crome a try. But I would make sure you're set up close to stock. Hook up O2 to exhaust. If it's a stock O2 sensor, don't disable O2 heater, and don't disable closed loop. I'd go from there.

What ECU are you running?

Have you tried tuning the idle yet with a wideband?

I've got $10 that says if your running 1000 cc injectors and all you've done so far is scale them from 240s in your basemap your running HELLA lean at idle. Add about 30 fuel units to colum 1 and 2 and see if that makes it idle any better.
