my plan was to take my swap, suspension, etc from my crx si and change over from the crx to the civic. but in the last couple days a few things have changed and i don't know the fate of either car right now so its on hold.

hatches are slightly lighter. But the rex is sleeker. However, I won't deny enjoying a back seat and large cargo area with the seats down.

His exhaust is probably rusted off. I've seen that frequent with these cars.

Back seats: To remove the rear seats, there is a "C-lock" on the outside bottom of the seat. It's black. Pull that out with a pair of pliers and then push your rear seat to the outside and lift out. Piece of cake.

lol, ya ill have it until i get a b16a.. but um... this is what ive done to my backseat

i took the black **** off the back of the back seat, i unbolted like 4 bolts under the seat, and pulled the bottom of the seat out of the car, i just have the back part of it. um.. thers a like a black thing on back of each sea that connects to it with a rod or something... is that what ur talking about?

um.. why the hell are there wires coming out like almost at the rear bumper coming from under the fender and go back in through a tiny whole on both sides of my car???

ok nvm, the black thing that i saw isnt even connected to the back rear seat. its connected into the side of my car through a metal rod or something, do i gotta take off the back panels to get to that?

Tee-hee. Sorry. I just know that when I ask questions on HT I want immediate answers no matter where they come from...

Yes, in the back seats. I don't know why you pulled 4 bolts from the bottom. I think there's like two in the center on the backside (under the backrests) and then you pull up and out of the slots on the front side.

As for the backrests, there's two sides to each half. The inside (the middle of the car) and the outside (the part closest to the wall) On the outside down by the bar that holds the seat in there is a black c-spacer-clip thingy. Just pull it out. Once pulled out, slide the half-seat in that direction and pull out. Repeat for the other side. No panels have to be removed, but you WILL have to pull the hatch-area carpet off of the back side of the seats.

All the wires you see go to: Fuel pump, fuel line, gas-door release cable, hatch-release cable, back up lights, license plate lights, tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, hazzard lights, turn-signal lights, and open-hatch sensor. Which wire were you talking about
