Default Bad/horrible gas mileage ..plz help

I have terrible gas mileage on my mini-me, running a p28..this set-up is draining my gastank like its draining my wallet. I have a 1-wire o2 and I know the p28 is 4-wire is this the reason why? Also I got desprate and found a po5,p75, and I tried to hook them up but the it started to smoke from the ecu/ecu plugs what the hell caused this..but it seems it didnt do any damage..anyone can explain this to me and try to help my gas mileage improve with any suggestions, I'm all ears...

Do you have any CELs?

Convert to a 4 wire o2.

Did you swap the p28 and do the mini-me at the same time?

Get the car tuned. You may be running overly rich in fuel -

..I had no codes before the mini-me swap, so I think code 41 is because its a 1wire o2 compared to the 4wire o2 the p28 is looking for..where is the IAT anyone have a picture?

Its a white sensor on top of the intake manifold, usually located on the 1st or 2nd runner.
