o2 sensor????
Can a o2 sensor b bad without throwing a CEL? I get 280km to a tank with my eg with b16 it has stage 2 cams and 11.1 pistons and a chipped ecu but I still think I should get better gas miles what do u guys think? I also have a 4 wire o2 sensor would this b a gd 1 to get http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

they can start going bad long before they throw a cell. With what you have done to the engine 280m to the a tank sounds pritty good

Depending up what "chipped ECU" you have, you're likely running extremely rich, which would lead to poor fuel economy. With the setup you described, you could certainly benefit from some good tuning, which would improve your power output as well as your gas mileage.

Running rich does not automatically mean a ton of visible "black smoke" from the exhaust. If your car wasn't consuming excessive amounts of fuel for the amount of air it was taking in (i.e., running rich), your fuel economy would not be atypically poor.
