Default 6th gen h22 swap! speak on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

since nobody knows anything about a swap for the 6th gen, i have to take it to the performance shop ive tried and searched i think the problem is that everyone concentrates on the older accord. so i think in any forum they should not have a 6th gen or 1998-2002 subject. due to the fact when it comes down to this subject on the accord everybody all of a sudden goes blank. i think its kind of f@#ked up.oh well, as soon as im done with mine im going to post it and even take pics so you can see what im talking about!

well there is a search button...this swap has been completed numerous times before...just because nobody saw your post for the 30 minutes it was on this page of the accord forum doesn't mean that there isn't any info on this entire site...use your resources a little better....

Swapping an H22 into a 6 gen is not a waste, especially if reliability and longevity is an issue. I much rather my car last past 150k miles vs. 100k...Unless the engine is built, all turboed engines deteroriate and will have a shorter life span than an NA engine, Let's be for real. I have a 01' Accord LX, standard, with 37k miles and I'm stuck between turboing or getting an h22, since I want this car to last past 150k miles.

If you go h22, you'll waste that low mileage 37k f23!
How about turboing it till 100k like you say and in the meantime, find a good deal on a h22 and swap it in when your f23 breathes it's last forced breath
Budgeted accordingly, it can easily be done. My guess is, by the time you hit 100k, you'll be looking for another cheap f23 and keeping the turbo

turbo f23 are awsome as well, but the ring lands for those motors are also weak. 8psi daily driven, wonder how long that would last. 80k?

Shreker:

Well i personally wouldn't want to help a fucktard like yourself who can't perform a common search (did you try clicking on archives?, yeah that's right sit down and shut up!). Furthermore you somehow think it is your duty to flame on everyone in the forum because you can't find your precious little answer due to your own inadequacies and insecurity...you selfish little brat!

I hope you pay an ungodly amount for your swap so that you may be able to grace us with all the answers in the future seeing as how we as a collective whole know nothing!

It amazes me how people get angry at a free forum when people dont go running to help them. It's even better when they think theyre the first to do something....and theyre the LAST.

Hey Shreker. The H22 accord in a 6th gen cannot happen. Forget about the swap and install a D16 into the accord.
