Default B16 Trouble

I swapped an OBD1 b16a into a 91 civic std, converted the motor to OBD0 using obd0 dizzy and ecu. Did the dpfi to mpfi wiring myself etc. Now the motor will run fine until you slow down, at which point, when you give it gas it bogs down and wants to shut off, until you take your foot off the gas.To remedy the problem you have to shut the car off, and then turn it back on for it to run right until the next time you go to slow down then it starts all over again! I've search and tried everything: got a new dizzy, got new plugs and wires, got a new fuel pump and filter, new injectors, redid the timing over and over again, rechecked the wiring, and still nothing! Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is the ECU throwing any codes? Im sure you already did this; it seems like u know your stuff, but it doesnt hurt to make sure. Maybe check you IACV, TPS, etc..

i also suspect its intake manifold related, as long as your using a resistor box and obd0 injectors, and your sure it has all the wiring correct (ran continuity on each one) it must be related to that manifold.

as a side question: did you not get a dizzy/ecu with that swap? why go obd0?
