Default wiring of distro to ecu

does anyone know how to wire the distro stright to the ecu? someone brought me a car with the distro wired to the ecu and now it is having problems it was running before but some of the wires got messed up... thanks

you didnt even specify what engine NOOB, nice post count but it means nothing when you make posts like this!

edit: wtf is a distro?

I dont think it would matter what motor if you are going to wire the distributor straight to the ecu. You just look in a manual and find what wires on the dist. are what. And then look at the ecu wiring and find the pin that runs the wires at the dist.

dont you think what type of ecu would matter? dont you think what type of setup their car is, wire placement, ecu pins, right setup done for the right motor. You want me to give you a 2 different things and you look in a "manual" to figure how they go together?

it does matter to a certain point, but i suggest if the dude wants help, he trys to be a lil more specific. Then maybe someone with the same setup can help.

sorry i didnt specify more, it is a civic DX converted to MPFI and has a b16, as for the wiring i got it all down but im stuck on the 2 ignitor wires, which ones do they goto

i also converted the car to obd1, injectors are firing and i have spark but the motor does want to run, the cam tiiming is also not off
