Default SAS Bazooka on an ITR.

I'm considering to install a self amplified SAS Bazooka in my ITR. First, because of the weight saving and it takes little room in the cargo area. And second, because since long time ago I've been reading that this bass system is very efficient.

Does someone have this sub installed in their teg and what comments can you make about it. Pros and cons, sound quality?

Thanks in advance!

My friend has one in his 'lude. It sounds decent. It's not super high quality or anything, but it'll give you a thing that a stock 'teg sound system needs...BASS! Also, easy in, easy out...great for an ITR.

A friend of mine has the 8" RS series amplified Bazooka brand bass tube in his 97' Eclipse GSX. I was VERY impressed by the amount of sound coming from the one tube. I honestly thought there was a larger speaker in a regular box back there. Granted, it is not as loud as building your own set-up and adding a seperate amp. But, for the size and weight, and also the money, they can't be beat.

We carry all the Bazooka models. Check us out if your interested in purchasing one.

My personal preference is to have clean sound, not too overbearing. I also looked into the bass tube but shyed away after all the horror stories on http://www.epinions.com

However, I tried a Hollywood 10" DVC Tube in my 95 GSR and I was quite pleased with the sound, not too much, but good enough to give some depth to my music (R&B, Hip Hop, Techno, Dance, Reggae)

See if an audio shop will let you have a test drive on one

Good Luck!

I have an 8" Bazooka in my car fed with 110WRMS of power. I'm pretty happy with it...it won't shake the block, but it fills the car. It is also very light and easy to remove. If you strap it in it won't fly around in the turns either.
