i know everone has their own opinion but im getting really confused with what is true... i guess the only way is to try it myself

i thought toyo t1r were meant to be really sloppy... but it's got a great rating

Those are compilations of ratings submitted by users. As such, it's ripe for abuse; for example, anyone can rate a given tire, even someone who has never bought or used it.

The biggest problem I see with such ratings is that they depend on how well the tire meets the expectations of owners. If a long-lasting tire is sold primarily to owners of family sedans, and those owners think that it has good traction, it might get a higher rating than a tire with better traction whose owners are using it mostly on sports cars and have more experience with different tires.

I find the side-by-side comparison tests on the Tire Rack website to be more meaningful, because they can rate it for many more characteristics and they're testing it on the same vehicle on the same day and time and place. Too bad Tire Rack doesn't sell Toyo tires...

yeah i was thinking the same thing... cause the great thing about you guys are that you are not bias cause you guys don't work for tyre companies....or do u? j/k

yeah i've done research already but can't find comparison with the es100, g3's and the falken st 115 but i guess not many australian's on honda-tech

I have the new Toyo T1-R on my car - great street tire

The US doesn't get the T1R yet - they're still heavily advertising the T1-Ss to clear out old stock.
