Default d-series axle question

Ok here's my situation, currently i'm driving a 95 cx hatch with the original d15b8 and an EX tranny from a EK coupe. The drivers side cv joint is bad (loud popping while turning and accelerating) I have a set of axles from my previous car (92 lx sedan with a d16z6)

Before i go tearing into the hatch and potentially destroying my tranny or waisting about an hour of my time, will the axles from my sedan fit the hatchy? I searched around but couldn't find any solid information.

Any help is appreciated. thanks

thats ok. its really not that hard. put the car on the ground take the center caps out brake the axle nuts lose jack up the car take the 2 bolts out of the upper control arms take out your suspension put like an extension or something on the end of the axle hit it with a hammer till you can get it the whole way out of your rotor. then u might be able to just pull the axle out of the tranny if not tap it with a hammer. same way for bothsides.
