First gen CRX question, need advise!
I am getting my hands on an 87 CRX si, for 300 dollars! I was wondering what would be my best option, in this situation? I was thinking sine i have a sohc d16, out of my 89 si CRX, i could turbo it and swap it into the 87. Is this possible? Or should i get a b20, non-vtec motor? which was my second thing i was thinking about? Or third should i get a dohc ZC and turbo it?
Please tell me what you think. and what you have seen done.
And, i dont care about power steering, or a/c.
Also, what will i need in these swaps.?

A 86-87 integra motor would be the easiest to swap in, everything else you will need custom mounts, axles, wiring all that *****. If you got the money go for a b series motor, hasport makes motor mounts for a b series into an first gen crx. Try searching first gen crx or something like that, the info is out there.

if you didn't read about it, the 86-87 integra motor is dohc, t25 or any small type turbo would be good to start out with. Not sure about the turbo manifold itself though.
you could call it the american ZC but it is totally different from jdm dohc/zc, it has around 115hp(around there), it is kinda like dropping a jdm ZC into a 88-91 civic/crx in that it is mostly plug and play, but you should only use the 86-87 integra motor as the 88-89 motor uses a different type of speed sensor(not sure on the type of sensor but it would be easier to use the 86-87 motor).
