i got a 91 ef hatch with jdm b16 swap/pr3 ecu...when i drive it through the streets everything is perfect..but when i get on the freeway and i down shift to fourth a couple times the cel turns on..the homie who sold me the car tells me its vtec code having to do with the oil pressure..it only happens on the freeway and it stays on until i turn the car off..when the light is on the motor revs slowly and sounds funky...the rev limiter also only lets me go up to about 7,200 (takes forever) compared to 8000 where its usually at..i couldnt tell if the vtec was kickin in or not..the car is so damn noisy on the freeway...if anyone has ever dealt with a problem like this ...ANY advice would be greatly appreciated...cuz when its not throwin a code this thing pulls hard with it its like drivin a ford festiva
