Yeah, what do you need to know? A lot of people have done it but you need to ask a more specific question.

Is there any differences in the body type then the hatch backs. What are my option on wiring that's where I now I will need lots of help on but I am pretty handy on firgure out thing with some assists from everyone. Can someone break down what is needed best to work in my 4dr civic.

you will need b series into ef mounts hasport.com, you will need 90-93 integra axles, hasport.com, or streetimports.com, they also have mounts, you might want to get an obd1 gsr, i think it would be easier, then you can get a obd0 to obd1 harness, which is what i did, i got that from camp1320.com, you will also need a gsr ecu, you will need shift linkage from hasport.com, i think you need some bracket from a 9-93 integra also, i am not sure, i needed it for my b16 swap, you will need oil , coolant, honda mtf, you can get all that from a honda dealer, you will need to buy a new clutch and flywheel, since you are going to use the cable tranny, and i think thats it if i am missing anything someone else will add it

hasport.com makes a bracket so you can use a hydro tranny in your car using the cable to engage the clutch

Hey, I have one also!!

The swap isn't hard, but there are a lot of little things that pop up with any swap. I'd recommend that you pick up a small spiral note book and keep notes in it. When any question comes up in your mind, add it to the book. Keep it for noting things like what radiator hoses you use. Etc.

Although I converted my wiring loom to OBD1 myself, I highly recommend that you just buy a "conversion" harness. (Ryan of Rywire is a good guy!!)

For obd1 you need a obd1 dizzy, ecu, 4 wire o2, and a wiring kit

What Tranny can I use? Can I use a LS Teg tranny is that vaild to use.
The ECU that I have has to be convert to OBD1 which I am picturing two ECU's or is just one ECU but a OBD1. what type of ECU will I need?
The Harness has to be OBD1. I think the alt. is OBD2 that may have to be changed too.

you just use 1 OBD1 ecu connected with a custom wiring harness (from rywire of course!!). then you need a four-wire o2 sensor and and OBD1 dizzy. you can use an LS cable tranny. if you don't know what we're talking about you shouldn't be doing the swap. take it to a shop to get it done if you don't know what you are doing or you'll just screw it up and end up spending more money!

The more information I get the better I can put things together. That's why I am asking everyone to gather what people did and how they did it. I am pretty handy on figuring out things and putting things together. The One thing is the wiring that's the funny part about it. The More info on it the better I will be to put it all together.

any b-series tranny known to man! cable works fine also you can use hydro trannys with the kit i showed above ..... search and read. if you dont have the patience to do that, what makes you think you'll have the patience to do your first swap which from the looks of it will take you at least 2 weeks to 2 months.

I know it gets boring hearing people to tell you to just read up on this site and search, but I can't stress how much you'll learn just by doing that. Personally, I read posts on this site for almost a year before I even made an account. There's also a guy who did an entire swap and buildup by only using the search function. (Click Here) That's pretty good proof right there that almost anything you need to know is already on this site.

Don't expect your car to be swapped and running perfectly in a weekend. The first one usually takes a few weeks or months to work all the little bugs out. Good luck!
