the other day i went to the gas station, and after i finished getting gas, i turned the key, it turned, but stopped partway through. it repeated this several times before it turned all the way over and started. what could be causing this and what could solve this?

did you run your tank all the way empty? if so, your pump may have just run dry for that short period of time. if youve done this repeatedly, it could be causing undue wear on the pump. next time make sure you fill up before, or as soon as, your fual guage light turns on.

 

hmm yes i did, and thats what i thought the problem was, but it did the same thing again later that night.

 

you mightve just finally put your pump over the edge! any other opinions?

 

Your ignition switch might be getting flaky?

 

either your key is worn or like jim says you have issues with ign switch,,,i have seen keys cause that problem i would go to dealer and have them cut me another key or if you have another key try it and see if you can duplicate same problem
