I need a tach that goes to 10G's and a speedo in mph, for my 1995 gsr. And i hate the idea of a huge tach on my dash....(ricey) I want to use a usdm type R gauge cluster, i need advice about if it will even work and or were i could find one. All i have bin able to find on the internet is jdm ones.. Someone please help me out....thanks

 

eBay has them once in a while. It will work with some extra work. All you need is a screwdriver. You have to remove each of the gauge assemblies and put them into your GSR cluster housing.

 

depending which year cluster you end up with, installation can be as simple as plug and play. i speak from experience.

you could either try recycler or http://hmotorsonline.com/ but your gonna be spending about $200+ for it because they are pretty rare

BTW Mr.DC2 wondering what type of stereo deck is that? Been looking for a decent amber scheme to match my console too

 

its gonna be rear to find a usdm itr cluster......ebay sometimes have them...but i know the feeling....I was running jdm itr cluster and now switch over to usdm gsr cluster....dont like kmh...

his looks like an alpine


alpine also makes a full amber deck it looks pretty sick

 

right now i am rockin an alpine 9835 deck. the big four blue buttons on the left can also be adjusted to 512 other colors including amber.

 

if you plug it in and it doesn't work, change the green sheet off the back of the ITR cluster with your old cluster and everything will work fine
