I have just a simple question about lug nuts. Is it okay to use a tapered head lug nut with the stock wheels? I'm using Kyokugen lug nuts with stock wheels and so far no problems, but I sure as he|| don't want and problems occuring while I'm driving down the freeway or something. Thanks guys!

 

You're much better off using lug nuts with a spherical seating surface, rather than a conical seating surface, so that they're in contact with the wheel for the entire seating surface, instead of just a circle. IOW the stock lug nuts will work better with the stock wheels than those aftermarket lug nuts.
