I need to know if the motor mounts on a da teg from an automatic are the same as the ones for 5speed, like the tranny mnts. (top and torque) cause i've got them off an auto and my buddy needs them for his 5speed but doesn't have the original ones to compare to. thanks for any help

auto mounts are different than 5spd mounts. the tranny mounts are different from what i hear.....the engine side mounts and the rear mounts are the same but dont quote me on that. auto to 5spd is also a pain in the *** to do, you have to cut the auto mount off and re-weld the 5spd mount back on and it has to be straight or else youll be breaking axles.....
ask around for some more advice though...

 

well he's not converting from auto to 5speed he has a 5speed and needs mounts and we just need to know if the ones off an auto da teg will work on his 5speed da teg, and as far as cutting and rewelding the mounts to do the conversion i think they sell an aftermarket mount kit to avoid cutting and welding. At least i know they have one for eg's. Anyone else
