my mounts are wrong, what mounts do I need??
I'm swapping an ls engine into my 93 hatch.
my hatch was an auto and the ls is a stick, it was from a 91 teg.
I have my auto mounts and the 91 mounts but with the 91 mounts, the engine sits too far back AND the side mounts are about 1/2" too thin when they are inside the body mounts.
what mounts do I need?? I keep hearing about a custom mount for auto swapped cars on jdmshit.com or something like that but I never see it when I go to the site...
I need help guys.

I'd say you can get the Hasport auto to manual conversion mount, part number EGAMH, but it only works with hydraulic manual transmissions. So, this leaves you with two options, either change to a hydro trans, or get the EG frame bracket from a 5 speed car, weld that in, and then buy the Hasport EGBCC conversion kit to use the cable trans in that car..
Personally, I'd get the hydro trans.

I couldnt find the EGAMH mount on their website??
EGBCC kit is to use the earlier cable clutch stuff I assume but in the description of it and the installation instructions for it, says its just to convert the cable trans to hydraulic.
I want to stay completely cable.
I know others have done this swap, guess I just have to do more searching sigh.

yeah, I already emailed innovative directly earlier. just been waiting on a response from them. was hoping someone on here has had the same dilemma.
as far as everyone talking about me needing 94-01 teg mounts.
I thought the 90-93 cable transmissions and 94+ hydraulic transmissions used a different bolt pattern for the top transmission mount???
and if that's the case then trying to use 94+ teg mounts on the 91 cable transmission wouldnt work. right?
