b18a1 or b20

i was just wondering what motor is better for more accelration and still have good top speed?

what are you looking to get out of the motors? turbo or n/a? if your going n/a non vtec, i would suggest the b20 with p8r head. if your looking for alot of boost (more then 10 psi) go with a ls block and get it sleeved. most places will not sleeve a b20.

B.S , if you fork over the cash they will. Name a few places that will not sleeve a b20 ?

i dont think race eng. will sleeve b20's. at the bottom of the cyl it has to be machined out. on the b20 there is lees material and breaks almost eveytime. that came from a guy i talked to from race eng.

you cant smog a car with a b20 in it, its considered a truck engine. go with the LS

Well if one place does not do it, that does not mean no one else will

Edyne will, so will golden eagle. And there two of the best sleevers out there.

If done right, it can be done
