Default High-flow cat length (Itr cat-back on 2000 Ls/Vtec)

Hey guys, i need some info. I have a 2000 Teg with an Ls/Vtec setup and Itr cat-back. I need to order a High-flow cat in the next week and want to know what length i have to get. Seems like there are different lengths for different applications. Also, should i get a bigger diameter cat (2.5") or go with the same diameter as my cat-back (2.25"). Thanks

2.25" will be fine. the itr stock cat actually bottlenecks down to 2.0" on the outlet, so the 2.25" will flow better by default. 2.5" will be too large and be prone to leaks unless you're running a larger exhaust.

Do you plan to run with the ITR for awhile?

Isn't it obvious then that you should get an ITR CAT since you're running the exhaust?

Unless it's too long for you, meaning the exhaust tip is sticking out too far out the bumper then you might want to shorten it.

Measure it yourself just to be sure but it should be 17.5". If you buy from user "SMSP" he'll know exactly that you need based on your set-up.
