just got them put on today(front pads) so i really havent had much time to really test them out.
so far they work really good low brake dust, quiet. because my stock pads were toast. i also put up some motul rbf 600 fluid which is weird for me
cuz ive always used honda fluids. im kinda skeptical if its not as good as honda fluid.
overall
i just thought id share with you guys,im open to questions or comments......miles

I just put a set on my Scooby. They work alot better than stock, and are pretty good for a street pad - good initial bite, and good braking regardless of temperature. They will begin to dust more as you bed them in, but not half as bad as Axxiss Ultimates or Cobalt's....

cobalts are excellent.. the comments above are about pad dust.

gotcha, I am about to buy some new pads for my car, but I don't plan on auto-xing to much this summer soo I dunno if I should go with some cobalt gt sports or maybe stick to some less expensive hawk street pads.

GT Sports are good if you plan on doing alot of autocrossing and/or track work. For a mostly street driven car, they are probably overkill (will dust alot and wear out rotors much faster than oem). Hawk HPS's, Axxiss Ultimates, and stock pads are all good choices for mostly street driven. Stock will dust the least, but doesn't have the best initial bite. Hawk's are a good compromise IMO.
you have any idea how much it would cost me for stock pads all the way around? I know cobalt gt sports are like near 400 or something for all 4. and i will be needing all 4.
I think stock for all 4 is like 200? or something like that?

First go to cobaltfriction's site and get your prices straight. Your thinking too much money.
If I were you and dusty wheels are not an issue I would go with Axxis Ultimates F&R.

i went to their site, for both fronts its like 250 or something and rears are like 89 a peice or something, so its close to 400 unless those prices are for the pair then I am just stupid....
(brake pads are usually priced by the set - meaning you buy 1 set of front pads and 1 set of rears for the whole car...)
you can go to http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org for cheap oem prices, or just call Len...

The prices are for a set. If you are an Expo participant it is even cheaper.
Just put on GT-Sports and I like'em.

If you mash the brakes (which is hella fun now) they dust up pretty bad. If you can drive/brake normal the dust isn't that bad.
