ok i dont know how to host pics or i would . it came on my jdm b18b motor. it lookds like it goes from between teh map and the injectors. it has 2 large wires coming out of each side of it. They are red and black. It is a small rectangular box that says vortec on it. im wondering wtf it is, and i i should reuse it. went on teh vortec webstie, and really didnt see anything like it. if any one has any ideas, please let me know i can give more info if need

Maybe the motor had a S/C kit on it in japan that was taken off before being sold, and this is something to do with the kit. Its not a standard part if it has a vortech sticker so dont worry about it, take it off and forget about it....it is possibly something to fool the map sensor if the car was running more than 1bar of boost...sort of like an electronic missing link type thing
