Koni Coilovers Stuck!!!
i have a set of koni coilovers and the fronts are fine but i got to the rear and there both stuck i cant get them to raise or lower the spring anymore the collars are rusted with the spinners i tried wd40 i tried using a spanner wrench with a extension but it just turns the whole collar anything else i can try????
well did you have any set screws on your collar,, mine also got stuck and i used a hammer and a long screw driver and tapped on the collars and freed mine up, or they might be slightly cross thread'd

You sure these Koni thread bodies/sleeves? Koni did not any until recently. If they are ground control there is a alllen screw that you must lossen before you can adjust these.

I used air tools and press down on the bolt. Also make sure that you hold the spring fairly tight with your foot. Putting pressure on it will make it spin loose.

these are the real genuine koni coilovers not the koni shock and gc sleeves the koni coilovers have 2 spinners that u spin until they both reach each other, these have no bolts in order to adjust these u need a spanner wrench

ha ha, my ebay coilover sleeves work the same way, and i've had the same prob. you need to put some of the car's weight on the spring so the sleeve won't turn easily. Then get a long screw driver to stick in the bottom 'spinner' and hit it with a hammer. Once it's loose, lift the car up again and set your ride height.
