car is a 93 accord ex.first off, here is the low down.car was stolen,and then recovered.after the car came out of the impound it did not start.there is an external coil and and internal coil located in the dist.i'm not sure if the 3rd gens came like that.i'm thinking someone switched the distributer or something. we're getting spark to the plugs but,nothing comming out from the external coil.to top it off the distributer cap does not have a spot for the coil wire to pug in.i'm lost i think someone switch the distributer or it's just shot.heeelp.can someone post a pic of a 93 f22a6 distributer.

The "92 and 93" models came with an external coil. Someone must have swapped distributors like you thought. If it has spark i'm not sure if it should be a big deal. Does it have fuel presure?

Check ignitor!

Does the distributor have a coil in it? They probably have the external coil bypassed if it does.

 

the distributer does have a coil in it,i was trying to see if they bypassed the external coil,but i couldn't find where they bypassed it from
