Ok, you need to do a lot of reading in this forum.
The H22 swap is a difficult swap and consists of a lof of fabricating parts. However, the B18 with hasport mounts is a direct bolt in into our cars. I would sugest going with the B18. Easier to put it and since you want FI, the B18 has a lower compression ratio and there is no vtec to tune. I say B18.
EDIT: If you dont have the time to read, you shouldn't be doing this swap.

In anycase.... as a noob don't be discouraged... just know that mostly everything has been discussed and is searchable. If I posted everytime I had a hairbrain idea I'd have like 99999999 posts.

please dont insult our intelligence by assuming weve never seen it done. i honestly have to call bullshit here, bc if your "friend" had one then your wouldnt need to ask and you would know its pretty hard, lots of guys who are active on these forums have h22 efs.
secondly, you should probaby stick to the lude forums if you think every b18 came from a jdm type-r. there were lots of variations of the b18, the first two are non vtec... the 2nd two are dohc vtec.

the h22 into an ef is no joke. search for honda tech member "2point2"'s thread about his car.
a decent amount of guys run h22 efs, but without major mods and even more money, they wont hold a candle to an ls turbo that could be built with the money saved.
thats assuming you get help for all the fabrication involved with making an h22 work.
if you do all the welding and cutting and whatever it is they do with the clutch cylinder then its not that much more, but the car will still be out of commission longer.
i think you put engines on hold before you did any research.
