on a 96 cx civic if i set it at 7 psi ? also $365 is that a good price i think its either new or rebuilt

 

Mine gets full spool on my Y7 by 3800 and got mine for $265, try to find a deal on HT.

 

.48 is a small housing, you should have full boost by 3k

Yeah I'm guessing full boost should be at around 3600-3900 or so depending on what else you have. 1.6L engines aren't flowing enough to spool that early.

 

now should i go the route of keeping my stock manifold? sinc ei have the model that some use? I'll most likely get the downpipe from rev

 

I'd get an aftermarket manifold. One of those spoolinperformance (I think he does d series?) log manifolds or something similar should do nicely.

 

60 Trim Compressor .48 A/R or Super 60 Compressor .48 A/R ? but can't go the 63/ar since its too much $$ unless i find it used

 

You can always swap a .63 housing onto it later if you want. People sell them used all the time, and a turbine housing can't really wear out

Mine spools by 3k on my 1.8 liter Miata. I do have the .42 compressor housing and .48 turbine housing.

My LS with my 42/48 start to spool up practically off idle and probably full boost under 3k.

Mine Starts pulling around 2800-3000 an full boost around 4000 (10psi)

What manifold are you running? I think I will be running the same thing but with ls rods.

 

I have a non gated log style manifold.

Same here...

I usually don't see positive pressure until 3400 or so, but I can hear is start spooling before that.

What is the differnec between a 60 trim, and a super 60? I think I am gonna pick up a standard .42/.48 then just buy a .60 compressor housing for cheap.
