I know Rick, Nash and I are going. This will be a special weekend for Nash since this will be his first ever road race (in a SPU/H1 Civic). What about James, Jeremy, Reg, Keith, Greg, Crescent, Colin? You guys coming?

 

My first race this year will be @ Pacific Raceway on the 21/22.

I may come down on Sunday to watch everyone race though.

Yes, it will be a special weekend... I will be racing without my crewchief in life there with me however. Terri (my wife) will be having surgery Tuesday and will not be able to make the trip with me.

It is very hard to want to be in two places at one time. But, the entry was sent in, and I need to make this race to complete my plans and be able to run in NorCal with the NASA guys later this year. Terri is essentially pushing me out the door to go run.

I am getting so JACKED! I can't wait.

Yes, yes I did... I am very lucky. I grasped the GFCP for the first time a while back but have up until now been able to set it aside, I fear now that it is firmly in my grasp and I am taking very deep hits.

Johng: Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend - so many little things still to do. Just bought my first ever tow-vehicle last week. 2000 Durango 5.9L (DAMN that things sucks down gas!) I'm still getting used to driving a truck - everyone says i look funny in it haha. Anyways, the tow package goes on it this week and I need to find myself a trailer still. Otherwise I will have to rent one (gay).

Talked to Bill Vines as per your suggestion and he said if your last Driver training was within the last 12 months, then you're ok to go. Unfortunately, I asked 1 month too late - at 13 months, and he said they are very strict about the 12 month rule... sigh so as of right now, I'll be at PIR on May 25/26 for the Continental driver training program as originally planned.

The trailer place on Guide Meridian has really cheap rentals of some nice trailers.

Likewise--I figure would be a good way to learn PIR by getting some serious seat time and some pointers from people who know what is up. Not sure if I want to trailer the CRX to Portland or just drive the rally car down and run it.

My first (road) races will be at Mission (closest for me). CACC #2 and #3, ICSCC #2. July/August.

Will be good to see that "Little Bastard" kicking some rear bumper. You have some big shoes to fill. Jim H. first race was pretty exciting to watch.
