Default Another insurance question

I need to put insurance on the R for about 2 months. Is there a carrier that will allow me to do so??? I've noticed that most carriers only offer a 6 month or yearly rate. If anyone can give me some insight I'd owe you one. Thx -Ryan

I have not run into a single carrier that will go less than 6 months. I'd imagine if you did find one, they'd rape you HARD on the rates--almost to the point where it won't be that much different for a 6 month term. I'm guessing.

Why do you only need it 2 months?

Not sure where you are located but here in las vegas there are tons of smaller insurance companys that will insure you month by month. not saying they are the best companys to go with but they do provide you monthly insurance for pretty cheap. i've personally never used them but have friends that have.

Or sign up for the monthly payment option on your six-month policy.

<-- Is what I do.

The insurance I have, you pay every 6 months but if you don't have the car anymore they will prorate the account and give your money back. State farm is what I have.
