ok bought a theft recovered civic and had no suspension. however it does still have all the control arms, so i bought some 96-98 shocks and coilovers. now my question is can i use tophats of an eg and is there a differance in the front forks since those where also stolen? thanks searched and found tophats will work but not sure on the forks please confirm for me

As far as I'm aware, the only NON compatable damper fork is the 99-00 Si (wider spacing for stamped steel LCA). All other 96-00 models should be compatable with the EG forks...

 

Also, different part numbers from honda could also mean "same part different manufacturer". Makes it hard to tell sometimes...

wierd thing is the huge price difference (~$20)

 

i guess i'll just try to mount them up and go from there thanks
