Default Putting a new engine in an integra

I have come across a very highly prepared turbo B16a. I bought it for very cheap, and came with a AEM for a 92-96 integra. I also got a B16 tranny, half shafts, and manifold. Besides buying a turbo, what would I need to transplant it into a last generation integra? Would it be a lot harder to put it into a GSR over an LS? Would an LS tranny work better? Thanks for any help.

wow. you have a lot of questions. i think you need to use the search function since pretty much every question you have will return more answers through the search than you can read in a week. the B16 bolts in, run VTEC and knock sensor wiring in LS or get GSR, LS tranny is an ongoing debate, etc. just search, then create specific questions. we'll be happy to help you if you get stuck on an issue or need opinions or how-to's.

"very cheap" usually means one of two things when talking about an engine.

1. stolen
2. abused

wow talk about a lot of questions in one post....

-b16 is an easy swap
-ls tranny might be better for turbo just cuz of the longer gears
-ur gonna need an intercooler, and piping for the setup as well as a downpipe
-It'd actually be easier to put it into a GSR cuz vtec lines are already run

I think thats all

you need the following for install:

motor
turbo manifold
turbo
wastegate
blow off valve
downpipe
exhaust(3" if you want to make decent power)
some kind of engine management(hondata, uberdata)
chargepipes
intercooler
BOOST GAUGE(most important)--do not run that **** without a boost gauge installed.

wires are easy. put it into whatever car you have. A gsr just has a few more wires cause its got vtec. You can add them without any problems.

stick with the ls trans.

if you want to do it in steps, just get the motor installed and running first. Then worry about the turbo install.

What mods have been done to this highly prepared turbo motor?

I have an AEM, but it's for a 92-96 civic, will this plug right into a late gen integra?

I have a down pipe, piping for the intercooler, and the intercooler. SO I guess I need an integra, boost gauge, wastegate, and bov, is that really it? Besides a better suspension, clutch, diff, etc...

My friend was going to make a monster civic hatch, but decided not to cause he picked up a few other cars (i.e. STi, Silvia (a real one), and my old prelude (97 with tons of mugen stuff)).

The engine is a b16a with Darton sleeves, je pistons, eagle rods, Ferrea valves, springs, and retainers, 1mm oversized lightened valves, new valve guides, cut seats. Head is port and polished, balanced and blueprinted, micro-polished crank, arp head studs, o-ringed the head. . . Oh yeah, it's bored out to 1.8.

If I were to put it into an LS chassis, would the rear brakes be sufficient, or are they smaller than the GS-R rear brakes? Also will I find a sufficient amount of high end coilovers for the LS? I guess the best question is the suspension geometrys the same?
