Default fwd "traction bars"/antiwheelie bars

Anyone made these out there for their car? I'm not sure I'm using the right terminology, but the things that look like wheelie bars for rwd cars, but on fwd actually ride the ground all the time.

I'm wondering how you made it, what you used, wheel type, ect ect. I was thinking thick walled, maybe 2 inch diameter aluminum?

Thanks!

Wait, what is the point of this? FWD cars can't do wheelies.

Traction bars will typically replace the front cross member to reduce wheelhop

FWDs do make use of "wheelie" bars... they are more along the lines to prevent suspension/weight transfer though. Thus why they ride the ground all the time.

Basically its for a dedicated 1320 car.

Indeed. I'm not sure on the name the FWD'ers use for them, but they appear at first glance VERY much like wheelie bars, only they ride the ground all the time to keep the car from picking up the front wheels and spinning.

Now that thats taken care of... anyone built one?

where did you get the wheels for the back of it?

Reason I ask is, I'm sure not just any little wheel like that can spin to speeds of over 90mph, let alone 140mph or more.

Actually those were caster wheels that I modified to fit for testing. The actual wheels I use are called Wheeleze which are about $144 for a pair. They are very durable and weel built. All top fuel, pro stock, and funny cars use these exact wheels.
